Meet Kristina
Originally from Pennsylvania, I now reside in the rural countryside of South Carolina, where the natural surroundings provide endless inspiration for my art. Art has been an integral part of my life since childhood. I began my artistic journey with acrylic paints and later ventured into oil painting during my time at Harrisburg Community College. Over the years, I have also taught myself the delicate art of watercolor, a medium that allows me to capture the ethereal beauty of the world around me.
In high school, I expanded my artistic repertoire by learning Photoshop and

Illustrator, which opened up new avenues for digital expression. My passion for digital art continued into the late 2010s when I taught myself to use Procreate on Apple devices. This blend of traditional and digital skills has enabled me to create a diverse range of artworks, each piece reflecting my evolving artistic vision. During my adolescence, I was the go-to artist for my classmates, often asked to create drawings and designs for various projects, a testament to my innate talent and dedication to my craft.
Artistry is a family tradition. My mother, also an artist, has been a significant influence on my creative journey. Music is another thread that weaves through my life; I play the guitar and mandolin, while my mother plays the guitar, mandolin, Brach, and fiddle. My younger brother, the youngest of two, also shares this musical inclination, playing various instruments. This musical background enriches my artistic perspective, infusing my work with rhythm and harmony.
Gardening is another passion of mine, and I draw much inspiration from the natural world. The colors, textures, and forms found in nature often find their way into my artwork. Additionally, I am fascinated by images and scenes that evoke a sense of past lives, adding a layer of mystique and depth to my creations. One unique aspect of my artistic practice is my ability to receive intuitive messages from those who have crossed over, which I channel into my portrait work. This intuitive connection adds a profound and personal dimension to my art, making each piece a spiritual and emotional experience.
Currently, my artistic focus is on architectural renderings. This new love allows me to combine my technical skills with my creative vision, creating detailed and expressive representations of built environments. Whether capturing the grandeur of historic buildings or the sleek lines of modern structures, I find immense joy and inspiration in this pursuit. Through my art, I strive to create works that resonate on a deep, emotional level, inviting viewers to see the world through my eyes and connect with the beauty that surrounds us.
